Paws Fur A Cause 2010
“Paws”itively Amazing Results!

2010 Results:
- 99 runners and 131 walkers, for a total of 230 registrants - an 18% increase from last year!
- Around 60 dogs participated in the walk - double last year’s turnout!

The event raised more than $3500 for the Iowa County Humane Society. The funds will be put toward the shelter’s operating expenses, including items such as cat and dog food, cat litter, bleach, veterinary expenses, and more. Thank you to everyone for being so generous. All of the cat and dog residents greatly appreciate your support!
As you may know, two Dodgeville high school boys, Tyler Grunow and Logan Brick, volunteered at the Paws Fur A Cause run/walk last year. They decided that if two girls could pull off such a great event, then this year it was time for the boys to step up and show that they have what it takes as well. Together, Logan and Tyler brought back the committee, gathered some new members, and organized another successful day. Waiting in the wings is Melissa Seman, an 8th grader at St. Joe’s Catholic School in Dodgeville. Melissa is looking forward to taking over next year, and has already been a key member of the committee.
