The 2008 ICHS Art auction committee would like to offer our sincere thanks to all the talented and creative artists who so generously donated to this year’s event.
We are so fortunate to live in an area where there are so many inspired people
who are willing to share their gifts to help out our residents at ICHS. With
the high quality and wonderful variety of art media we were able to offer this
year, our event raised over $8200!
We also extend our thanks to a very generous community of supporters who took time out of the lovely spring day to come indoors and show your support by attending our event and purchasing our offerings. After this long and difficult winter and with our shelter needs growing the support of our community becomes even more vital and appreciated.
Special
thanks goes to: Jay, Joe and Helen at Dodge Point Country Club for providing
such a nice facility for the event and being such a joy to work with,
to
Dodgeville Veterinary Service, S.C. and Marklein Auto Body, Inc. for their
financial support, to Schurman’s Wisconsin Cheese Country
for
the wonderful selection of cheese and sausage and to Botham Vineyards and
Winery for the delightful wine
selection. Also thanks to Larry McConnell of Piggly Wiggly and Chuck and
Jill at Sirius Sunlight for allowing us space to display our wonderful
collection, to Deena at Inkwell Printers for her talent
and resources for
printing tickets and posters, Sirius Sunlight for doing a great job getting
the info onto our website, to Jack Reynolds our auctioneer and Ron Dentinger
for generously donating their skills and talent to make it a fun filled
event and to all of our wonderful volunteers as well as everyone on the
art auction committee.
