Employees from Cummins Emissions came to the shelter in August and helped walk dogs and played with cats. Thanks to all the employees who came and volunteered for the afternoon!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped at the Dairyland Dare and the Wright Stuff Century bike events! These 2 fundraisers raised over $4,000!

Thanks to Mary Jane Ellis and Moonhill Mercantilein Mount Horeb for the donation of $260.00 from the “Shop for Your Paws” holiday fundraiser.

During the month of October 2011, Mark Van Epps, of Mark's Auto Repair in Dodgeville (located between Pizza Hut and A&W), offered an oil change special, and $5.00 from every oil change was donated to the Iowa County Humane Society. It was a great opportunity to help out our loyal companions, and your vehicle.

As a result of this promotion, Mark was able to present Cheri Phillmore, the Outreach Director at the Iowa County Humane Society, a check for $500 (in picture: Cheri Phillmore and Mark Van Epps).

Thank you to all of our Lands End volunteers!! We received $1765.50 from employees who have volunteered many hours of time to ICHS and chose to have their donations benefit our animals here. Thank you for your time (which is priceless!!) and your donation!

The St. Mary’s Council of Catholic Women held a recent fundraiser and graciously donated $845.00 for our animal friends at ICHS. Thank you and four paws up!!

Thank you to the Bombay Bicycle Club of Madison for their $2000 donation to ICHS from the Wright Stuff Century bike event and special thanks to all of our volunteers who helped at the ride and made this donation possible!!

Thank you to the United Fund of Iowa County!! Once again, the United Fund is helping the people and animals in our communities by awarding a $1000 grant to the Pets of Abuse Victims Sheltering Partnership program this year. This cooperative effort between ICHS and Family Advocates, Inc. provides emergency sheltering for pets of victims of domestic violence and abuse, allowing the victims to seek a safe haven away from their abusive situation without having to fear for their pets’ safety. This grant will help to defray the costs of housing these pets in need.

Thank you to Culvers in Dodgeville, Kwik Trip Inc. and all of the volunteers who donated items or worked to make our food booth fundraiser at the Lands End annual Warehouse Clearance Sale such a success. With your support, we raised over $1000 for our animals!!

Special thanks to Hogan’s Septic Pumping & Service, Hollandale, for their ongoing donation of septic pumping services to ICHS!!

Special thanks to the employees and customers of Farmer’s Savings Banks for their month long fundraising drive for ICHS. Over $500 in donations and supplies were raised!!

Thank you!! On Saturday, March 6, the Ice Wolves Youth Hockey Association held their final public skate of the season, collecting donations and needed pet items for the Iowa County Humane Society (ICHS). Thanks to the Mt. Horeb/Barneveld Girl Scouts for their “Christmas for Critters 2” event. The girls made cat beds and dog toys as well as collected supplies and over $200.00 in monetary donations.

Thank you to the IBEW Local 965 and Alliant Energy employees who donated their $200.00 in earnings from working at the 2009 Holiday Fantasy in Lights.

Thank you to Spring Harbor Animal Hospital in Madison for their continued support with donated spay/neuter services.

Thank you to the staff and customers from Penny’s Casual Dining in Avoca for their continued donations totalling over $100 in 2009.

Thanks to the Iowa Grant 4th grade classes for their donation of supplies and money. The students chose to donate to help the animals rather than have a Christmas class gift exchange. This is the 4th year in a row that the students have chosen to support the animals of Iowa County!

Thanks to Box Office Video in Dodgeville for their ongoing donation drive “Free Popcorn for an ICHS Donation”, raising over $800 in 2009 for our animal friends!

Thanks to Taco John’s in Platteville for their donation of $1300.00 from the Nachos Navidad promotion and for helping to increase awareness of our shelter in the Platteville area!

Pizza Hut Buffet Night fundraiser for ICHS which raised $215.25.

for designating ICHS as their local charity and donating $500.00

Special thanks to Lands End and all of their employees who chose to donate their volunteer hour matching funds to help our animals in need! For each hour that an employee volunteered in their community, Lands End donated funds to the cause of the employee’s choice. Over $1900 has been donated to ICHS through the hard work and generosity of both the employees and the Lands End corporate giving program. This is a great example of your community in action to help our animal friends—thank you!!!

Thank you to the Iowa County Professional Police Association for “magically” raising over $1000 for ICHS with the Glen Gerard Magic Show! It was an entertaining evening for young and old and our animals will benefit greatly from this generous donation!!

Our latest Cram the Van supply drive brought in over $1000 worth of much needed supplies for the shelter. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to make this event a reality and to those who donated supplies!! Special thanks to WalMart in Dodgeville for allowing ICHS to hold this event in their parking lot!
