Humane Hero Award of 2008

Do you know someone who has made a tremendous difference in the life of an animal in need?
Do you know someone who makes a difference for animals each and every day?
Do you know an animal who has made an extraordinary difference in the lives of people?

If you know a special unsung hero, now is the time to nominate that special someone for the Iowa County Humane Society
Humane Hero Award of 2008!

The winner will receive an award plaque and recognition in the Dodgeville Chronicle and have their name inscribed on the perpetual awards board at the Humane Society.

All nominations are due no later than June 30, 2008. The winner will be announced and award presented during the ICHS Reunion on Sept. 14, 2008.

Nomination forms and guidelines will be available here soon, get them now at the ICHS shelter at 3207 Bennett Rd., Dodgeville, Wisconsin.

How to nominate your Humane Hero

1. Complete the nomination form (click here).
2. Describe in 500 words or less why your hero deserves to be recognized.
3. Include any supporting documentation that you feel is helpful (news articles, photos etc.).
4. Mail or fax this completed form and the items listed above to:
