Looking Forward in 2012

As we begin the New Year, we are in the homestretch in the quest to finally retire our relocation/renovation debt. From an original figure of almost $50,000, we have whittled it down to just around $25,000 with your support.

In 2012, our strategic planning includes using this year to re-organize our resource management in preparation for a capital campaign to be launched in 2013 with the goal of purchasing our current location.

Because we do not receive any funding from the large, national humane organizations, we continue to rely on you to help make dreams come true for the homeless animals of Iowa County. You have shown your belief in us by your outpouring of support in 2011 which made it possible for us to finally have a home to call our own and we give thanks every day for your confidence in us and our mission. Your continued support now and into the future will ensure that we are here for animals in need as long as they need us. When you donate locally, you can see what your support provides. That cannot be said when your donations disappear into the larger national organizational coffers.

Your partnership support is important to us. We invite you to continue to grow with us into an exciting future!
