The privacy of your personal information is very important to us. If you have any questions or concerns relating to privacy or security, please send an email to auction@ichs.net.
When you visit and navigate our Web site, we will not collect personal information about you unless you provide us that information voluntarily. Because we consider any personal information you give us as confidential, the ICHS will not disclose any information to third parties (including your email address).
When you register to bid at our online auction, we require the following personal information: personal user name, email address, name, and mailing address. You will also be asked to set up a unique password. Again, this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will not collect financial information to protect your privacy and security.

We ask that only individuals who are over the age of 18 register for the
online bidding. If we learn that we inadvertently registered someone under
the age of 18, we will promptly remove that bidding account and disregard any
bids that were placed by that individual.
1. Will my email or other information be shared with any other organizations?
No, the information will only be used by the ICHS. The ICHS does not share or give out email lists to any other groups. To view our Privacy Policy, please feel free to click on the link provided.
2. How do I register for the auction?
Click the Register link on the page. Fill in all required fields and click on the Register Me button. Once registered, you will receive an email with your password. You will need to use your user name and password to bid on items. You will also be able to change your user information or password by clicking on Update My Registration.
3. Will I get emails from the ICHS during the auction?
In order to have a successful auction, we need to communicate with you while the auction is underway. You will receive an email when you have been outbid. The auction emails will come from auction@ichs.net , so please add this email address to your “acceptable email list” so that we can avoid any spam filters. If you are the winning bidder, you will also receive an email informing you that you have won the item or service.
4. Is there a way to display my real name and not a user name?
Bidders may choose to use their real names as user names. This is a choice bidders make when they register. It is your decision whether to publicly display your real name or to be anonymous.
5. How can I change my user name?
Click the Update Your Registration link. You can update any of your information, including your user name, password, and contact information.

8. How does the bidding work?
Bidding is very easy! Click on the item that you would like to bid on. You will see bid history (other bids that have been placed for the item), the current high bid, and the lowest amount that you may bid. Enter your user name, password, and bid amount in the spaces provided. The bid must be at least the amount shown in “The Lowest You May Bid”. You can enter a higher amount also.
Please note that registration is required before you can place a bid. Then, click on Place Bid. The bid will be placed immediately at the amount entered. As the auction continues, you will be notified by email if you are outbid.
9. What should I do if I need further information about an item?
We provide detailed items descriptions, a photo of the item, the estimated value, and other information. If you need more details or have any questions, please contact the auction committee at auction@ichs.net.
10. How do I pay for an item if I win?
You have several options for payment. If you are picking up your item at the ICHS, you can pay for the item when you pick it up. Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted at the ICHS. If you would like to have the item shipped to you, please note that we must have you pay for the item before we ship it. You can choose any of the online payment methods offered on the ICHS website (PayPal, credit card, or bank account transfer). Please note that the payment is for your winning bid. You can also mail a check to the ICHS if you would prefer that method.
11. How do I get my item if I win?
All items will be available for pick-up at the ICHS in Dodgeville during regular open hours beginning Tuesday, November 9 th. We ask that you please pick up item by November 19 th or make alternative arrangements with us.
ICHS Hours:
Tues. - Fri. 1:30 to 5:30p.m.
Sat. & Sun. Noon to 4 p.m.
Closed on Mondays and holidays.
