Serving the animals and citizens of Iowa County and its surrounding communities
The Iowa County Humane Society offers a low cost spay/neuter program for household pets.
Just one male and one female cat could produce 420,000 offspring in a 7 year period, and one male and one female dog could produce 67,000 offspring in a 6 year period. We want to help stop these cycles of overpopulation by offering low cost spay/neuter to families in the area.
Spaying or neutering your animal will:
Sterilizing your pet is the single most important thing you can do to reduce the number of homeless animals in our community. All dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens adopted from the Iowa County Humane Society are spayed or neutered before going into their new homes. We encourage all pet owners to sterilize their companion animals and join in our efforts to ensure no animal is left without a home.

We have chosen Kuranda dog beds because they are so good for our dogs. We don't have enough for all of our kennels. You can help by donating a bed.
